IACS youth advocacy

Ria founded and led the Women’s Rights Team within Indian American Community Services (IACS) Youth Advocacy, bringing together more than fifteen teens from across Seattle. The team collected 13,000+ sanitary products and worked with T2P2 on distribution. Its members trained with One Love to share healthy-relationships education through workshops and social media. Ria received the 2021 President’s Gold Volunteer Service Award for this work.
